Enrolling in Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication
On your mobile device:
Download the app Microsoft Authenticator on your mobile device. The app is free and will be necessary to access company applications and services.
Google Play Store (Android)
Apple App Store (iOS)
On your computer:
Go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info
If prompted, authenticate as normal.
Select Add sign-in method

Select Microsoft Authenticator

Select Next twice


On your mobile device:
Open Microsoft Authenticator
Select Add Account (the + symbol in the top right corner)
Select Work or school account & then Scan QR Code

Your mobile device will utilize its camera to allow you to scan the QR code presented on your computer screen. The app may need you to grant permission to use the device camera.
Simply point your mobile device at the QR code on your computer screen – once it captures the QR code Microsoft Authenticator will return to the main screen and you will see your account listed.
On your computer
Select Next

You may be prompted to verify your account is configured in Microsoft Authenticator – the app will prompt you to enter the number presented on your computer screen.

Select Next – you’ve completed Microsoft Authenticator setup!

In your Microsoft Security info page you will now see Microsoft Authenticator linked to your device.

If you have more than one mobile device, you may select Add sign in method multiple times and select Microsoft Authenticator to enroll your secondary devices as authentication methods.
If you change mobile devices, you can also delete Microsoft Authenticator to remove devices.
