Printing From Mobile Devices Using Printer Logic

Requirements

Mobile device must be on the corporate network at the printer location

  • Connect to the company Wi-fi
  • Not the Visitors Wi-Fi

Install vendor app (Printer Logic) on the mobile device (steps below)

Be assigned the Printer Logic app in Okta (submit an IT request)

 

How-to Print from Mobile Device using Printer Logic app

Installing the app & connecting to the service:

  • Download the Printer Logic app from Vasion, Inc


     
  • Open the app & type:
    • Wilksbrothers.printercloud.com


       
    • Select NEXT and then SIGN IN WITH OKTA

  • A browser window will open – authenticate into Okta

Adding a printer to the Printer Logic app:

  • Select Add Printer at the bottom right in the Printer Logic app
  • Select Wilks Brothers
  • Select the relevant business / department / location (Wilks Development, for example)
  • Continue to drill down to the specific office where the printer is located (Markum Ranch, for example)
  • Select the + to the right of the printer (WD Front MFP, for example)
  • Select OK on the popup Success! Printer successfully added

 

Printing from mobile through Printer Logic:

  • Access the item or document to be printed
  • Select share / send
  • Find and select PrinterLogic in the list of apps and services available on your mobile device
    • You can select Edit Actions… at the bottom of the list of apps, then select the green + next to PrinterLogic to put it near the top of the list of apps

  • Select the desired printer, set the number of copies, which pages, etc.
  • Select Print at the top right

 

Note: If Print is ‘greyed out’, and a loading/processing icon spins on the print preview, your device or the printer may not be on the same network – be sure to join your mobile device to the company wi-fi (not the Visitors wi-fi) at the corporate location you’re printing to
