Summary
When creating a new InfoLease user profile, ensure that the Single Sign-On (SSO) credentials are entered in lowercase characters only. Using uppercase characters in the email address will cause authentication failures when attempting to log in.
Issue
A user reported receiving an error message when attempting to log in to the InfoLease production environment using the SSO link.
Root Cause
Upon review of the user’s LeasePlus profile, the SSO credentials contained uppercase characters (e.g., First.Last@equifyllc.com). The system does not recognize these credentials as valid for SSO authentication.
Resolution
After updating the credentials to lowercase (e.g., first.last@equifyllc.com), the user was able to log in successfully via SSO.
Best Practice
-
Always enter SSO credentials in all lowercase when creating or editing InfoLease user profiles.
-
Verify the user’s email format before finalizing the setup.
-
If login errors occur, confirm that the stored SSO credentials match the expected lowercase format.
