Creating a New Ticket

A brief overview of creating a new TDX ticket - from email, the IT Portal, and from within TDNext.

Once we complete the transition to TDX from TrackIt emails to itsupport@wilksbrothers.com will create a new ticket in TDX.

From the Wilks IT Portal (Self-Service Portal)

Wilks Brothers IT Portal

  • Select Services (top navigation bar)
    • IT Support - General
      • Select the button to the right 'Request IT Support'
        • Complete the form and select 'Request'

Notes:

  • Several other services currently point to this same general form / default ticket type
  • Default assignment for this form is to the Service Desk

From TDNext

Wilks Brothers TDX - TDNext

  • Select Wilks ITSM from the applications / 'waffle' menu
    • Select +New (top navigation bar)
      • Select the form associated with the type of ticket you are opening
      • Fill out the form fields (mandatory fields are marked with a red asterisk) and select Save at the top of the form
